A Healthier Coconut Mocha Coffee with Coconut Oil:I would like to share a great tip with you. For those that are interested in their health, you can make this and other coffee drinks more beneficial. There has been so much in the news and on health shows, such as Dr. OZ, about coconut oil and health benefits that I decided to do some experimenting.I use about 1 Tablespoon MCT Coconut oil or just plain coconut oil in place of the coconut syrup. Coconut oil helps with weightloss as well as treating ulcers. This is a great recipe and the substitution makes my coffee actually taste even better because it is not quite so sweet. It also gives it a more rich and creamy flavor. For more info on the specific health benefits of Coconut oil, just follow the link: http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/coconut-oil-super-powers-pt-1 The Healthiest Coconut Mocha: Add fiber powder:Another great health tip is to add unflavored soluble fiber powder to the Coconut mocha or any coffee beverage for that matter. I do this every morning. The first time I experimented I was surprised that it did not alter the taste at all! Now it has become part of my morning ritual. This is a painless method of getting additional fiber without any inconvenience. What a great way to have coffee and drink to your health! |
