Irish Coffee Recipe (Hot Drink)

Ingredients:

3/4 oz Irish Cream Syrup

Espresso (your choice of number of shots)

Hot Water

Whipped Cream

How to Make an Irish Coffee:

Find your favorite mug and pour in 3/4 oz Irish Cream Syrup. Add Espresso - one to two shots, depending on your taste. Stir to mix. Fill the rest of the way with Hot Water. For the finishing touch, top with Whipped Cream.

This is a terrific coffee drink for any time of day. I just adjust the number of espresso shots using two or more for early day or just use one in the recipe if it is before bed. It is deliciously satisfying and with the whipped cream, it always makes me feel a bit pampered.

An Irish Coffee is also excellent to serve for guests as an after dinner coffee drink. Since it is alcohol free, you don't have to worry about them driving home because the caffeine will keep them wide awake on the drive.
